Hi hi! Name's Amy. I'm a big fan of Pride and Prejudice. I'm 20 years old and trying to get my hands on any reading material that is about our favorite P&P hero. Content-wise the 1995 movie is better, but in reference to the the actor playing Mr. Darcy, I have to say I prefer Matthew to Colin. He has a darker, more ruggedly handsome appearence which seems to fit the character better. And now I digress from my rambling!

Hi! As you can all see, my name is Another Mrs Darcy (I wish I could be one!). I have read a lot of Pride and Prejudice fanfiction over the past two years ( I also enjoy Phantom of the Opera fanfiction). 
I haven't really tried to write P&P fanfiction for myself as of yet, but I have written some Harry Potter ones and I get relatively good grades in English, considering the fact that it is not my first language. 

My favourite Pride and Prejudice adaption is by far the BBC version from 1995. In my mind, Colin Firth ranks superior to any other. He is the definate Mr Darcy. More correctly, he is the definition of Mr Darcy!

I have been a fan of Jane Austen for many years and I am always so pleased to read her novels over and over again. It's too bad she didn't live long enough to write more, but she left us with such wonderful treasures.

I`m a History and German Literature-teacher, married, and my husband and I have two grown-up children. Our daughter has nearly finished her studies (English and Spanish) and our son attends a Medical School in Hungary. Some years ago when I was forced to stay at home due to an accident I discovered JAfanfic and became addicted. So, whenever I have spare time, I like to read stories provided by so many talented authoresses. Another hobby is sewing.
